A message from Pastor Derik
Dear Valued Partner
I know… I’m just going to say it. April showers bring April plowers…. Well at least in 2024 that's the case. We can’t seem to get a break from these snow storms, but thankfully we live in 2024, not 1024. We have heat, paved roads, the internet and so many things that make our life easier. No matter what the weather is there’s always something for which to be thankful! Easter has just come and gone, and let me just be thankful to God and the Dream Team at Revive Church for just a minute! This past Sunday from the time of me writing this, we celebrated the Risen King and launched 2 worship experiences, and we saw 6 people give their life to Jesus. We saw for the very first time in Revive Church’s history our weekend attendance with over 300 people! This is truly a day to rejoice and be glad in Psalm 118:24!! There is Revival happening all across America and beyond!! This is a great time to be alive because truly, Revival is not coming, it is already here!! We are living in a revival, and I wanted to share a prophetic word with you from Andrew Wommack, a minister that helped form my Christian faith in my teens. He prophesied that we are in the middle of what will be called the “Third Great Awakening!!”, A global movement of people seeking God and coming back to the only faith that is true and living!!!
People are seeking peace that is genuine and eternal. This Great Awakening is being fueled by people that who have tasted the goods of this world and found they are lacking, and even worse yet— they are depleting. Now they are turning to the one thing culture deems unnecessary— God. The world is thirsty, and we contain in us rivers of living waters! So let’s tap into those rivers, grow in our relationship with the Holy Spirit and show the world a better way through Jesus Christ! We are all missionaries and ministers!! So let’s continue to populate heaven and depopulate hell.
In April we are beginning a new topic of discussion in our yearly theme of "Reset.” We will be focusing this next yearly quarter on “Growing in our Relationship with Each Other.” So join us in-person on Sundays or online via YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and soon on TikTok Live or watch all of our worship experiences on YouTube to catch up on what God has been doing!
Thank you to every one of you that faithfully serve and give of your finances to Revive Church! We truly could not do this without you!! Next month we will be revealing some plans to finally (after two years) start an initiative to finish remodeling the exterior of our facility and create a beautification that matches the interior.
God Bless,
Derik Kerber

MONTHLY LOOK BACK
We’ve Only Just Begun
At our Easter Service we had over 300 attendees. That is beyond amazing. It is so awesome to watch Revive Church grow in such a magnificent way.
As we read in Ephesians 4:11-12, “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.”
In addition to that we had
21 new guests and
3 Water baptisms!
Praise the Lord for the work he is doing at
Revive Church!
Look and see how God is Moving
For the first 18 years of my life my main priorities were to perform well and be approved of by
those around me, but it was never enough.
Growing up in a non-Christian family the things of God held no interest to me. Despite excelling academically, being extensively involved in extracurricular activities and maintaining
good relationships with family and friends, I found myself crippled by depression and anxiety.
As I entered high school I tried to cope with these overwhelming feelings by turning to partying,
engaging in risky behavior, and experimenting with drugs like weed. Despite my desperate attempts I found that the relief was only temporary, and I was left feeling emptier than before. I felt trapped in a cycle of despair unable to reach out for help because I felt the need to maintain
a facade of perfection in front of others. I was lost, frustrated and spiraling down a path of
self-destruction.
Suddenly one day during my sophomore year of college I found myself in the hospital with
an unknown illness that left me incapacitated. The doctors tried everything for weeks, but nothing worked. I was in the worst condition of my life, and I felt like a shell of a person.
Then one night I decided to try something that I had never done before—pray. I uttered a simple
prayer expressing my doubts and pleading for relief. To my astonishment and that of the doctors, I fell asleep and woke up hours later feeling better than I had in weeks. It was nothing short of a miracle, and the only thing that had changed was that I had reached out to God in prayer.
Now don’t be fooled, my acceptance of Jesus as my savior wasn’t as miraculous as my healing. I was skeptical, but I was also curious. I began attending church with my mother where I encountered the transformative power of the gospel for the first time. Through the message of God's immense love and sacrificial grace demonstrated through Jesus Christ, I discovered a hope and purpose that I had never known before. His offer of forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life for all that believe in Him resonated deeply with me.
From that point on my life took on new meaning and direction. I immersed myself in
reading the Bible, attending church regularly and connecting with the Christian community. Years later I landed here at Revive Church thankful for my new family and eager for the
journey ahead. God's transformation in my life testifies to His love and power, and I am eager to
see how He will continue to work in and through me as I walk in faith.
